Ducks
I started raising ducks about 10 years ago as a hobby. Over the years I have tried many different breeds and loved them all. I raise them on oats and peas with fertrell nutribalancer, and they also free range and eat grass and bugs. They are my pest control system and and excellent source of nutritious eggs. Duck eggs are better for baking and more nutritious than chicken eggs. They can also be less allergenic than chicken eggs. I typically have eggs available for sale. Eggs are $6/dozen.

Last fall I got an incubator and had my first hatch this spring. I am planning to hatch more and raise ducklings to sell and raise for meat. My goal is to have an ancona breeding flock.
