Mitzi is our LGD in training. She was born August of 2023 and brought home December of 2023. She has been a much easier puppy than Meeko was, but still has her moments. She is 1/2 Karakachan, 1/2 a mix of Polish tatra, Maremma, Anatolian Shepherd, Spanish Mastiff, Akbash, and Komondor. She is more wary of strangers than Meeko but only barks a few times and then watches.

Meeko is our new livestock guardian dog, born July of 2022. He was a very difficult puppy to train to the animals, but has turned into a great guardian. He was also registered as a therapy dog until he decided he would rather stay home with the animals. After much training and patience he is finally poultry safe. He was amazing with the baby goats from birth this year. Meeko is a Turkish Boz/ Great Pyrenees cross.
Shiloh (Maremma) was our Livestock Guardian Dog. He lived with the goats and was an excellent guardian. He pass November of 2023 of kidney disease caused by Lyme we didn't catch soon enough. He is missed.
